Funeral for Louie Wadell McGill, 75, of Falkville, formerly of Minor Hill, Tenn. will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Phillip Hines and Bro. Mark Turner officiating, with burial in the New Salem Cemetery in the Salem Community of Limestone County. Visitation will be tonight, May 27, 2014, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. McGill was born August 11, 1938, in Minor Hill, Tenn. to David Homer McGill and Flora Lee Thorn McGill. He passed away Sunday May 25, 2014, at his residence. He was a member of the Hartselle Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Craig McGill; two brothers, Maurice McGill and Charles David McGill.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Juanita McGill; one son, Ronnie (Beth) McGill of Falkville; two daughters, Connie McGill of Marietta, Ga., and Lisa (Mark) Turner of Dothan; five brothers, Milford (Barbara) McGill of Birmingham, Dan (Joyce Dean) McGill of Lester, Billy (Barbara) McGill of Pulaski, Tenn., Don (Carol) McGill of Hammond, In., Terry (Georgann) of Columbia, Tenn.; three sisters, Lois McGill of Pulaski, Tenn., Myra Siniard of Minor Hill, Tenn., Sandra (Doug) Summey of Bellfast, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Logan Turner, Rachel Turner, Jeffrey Moreau, Marybeth Moreau, Hannah McGill and Lily McGill.

Pallbearers will be Greg Teague, Clarence Wall, Kevin Hamlett, Kerry Hamlett, Gene Parker, and Bobby Fox.
