Louis Burrow Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 2, 2025.
Louis Burrow, 79, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Walnut Creek, California. Born on January 28, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Louis lived a life fueled by passion, ingenuity, and a deep love for all things mechanical.

For those who knew him, Louis was the embodiment of hands-on brilliance. A master under the hood, he dedicated his life to building and restoring pre-1948 street rods, motorcycles, boats, and classic cars. His garage was more than just a workspace-it was a haven where engines roared back to life under his skilled hands. Whether it was fine-tuning a carburetor or fabricating custom parts from scratch, Louis had an uncanny ability to breathe new life into machines that others had long given up on.

His love for motorsports extended beyond the garage. He found joy in every aspect of the automotive world and was always eager to share his knowledge with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Known as the go-to guy for mechanical wizardry, Louis never hesitated to lend a hand or offer advice. His enthusiasm was infectious; his expertise unmatched.

In his younger years, Louis earned a reputation as a pool shark-his competitive spirit and sharp eye making him a formidable opponent at any table. He also excelled at bowling and took great pride in his skill on the lanes.

Louis shared 60 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife Juliana Burrow. Together they built a family grounded in love and resilience. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Karen Honour and her husband Ken Honour; his granddaughter Taryn Burrow; and his daughter-in-law Kerri Burrow. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.

Louis was preceded in death by his son Louis Edward Burrow-affectionately known as "Fast Eddie"-as well as his parents and twelve siblings.

May the memory of Louis Burrow bring comfort to all who knew him and inspiration to those who continue to turn wrenches with passion and purpose. A Graveside Service will be held on August 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home 3661 French Camp Rd, Manteca, CA 95336.
