Louis Ferreira Obituary
Mr. Ferreira proudly served in the United States Navy and was a salesman for Hathaway Oil Company, in New Bedford for many years. Mr. Ferreira was a gifted woodmaker, having made many gifts for his family and friends. But he will be remembered most for his undying devotion to his family, friends, Country and the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his beloved widow, Priscilla; dear daughter, Patti Schweidenback and her husband, Richard of Ft. Myers, Florida; grandson, Ernest Louis Schweidenback of Ft. Myers; granddaughter, Julie Baker and her husband, Chad Baker of Stowe, Vermont; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Baker of Stowe, Vermont.
A Celebration of his Life was held on November 8, 2007 in Ft. Myers. In his memory, donations may be made to his special charity: Community Cooperative Ministries, Inc. P.O. Box 2143, Ft. Myers, Florida 33902.

Priscilla,
We are so sorry to hear of Louie's passing.I always enjoyed talking with him about sports and family(I even tolerated the fact he was a very vocal Yankee fan).
I wish we could be of greater comfort to you but obviously the many miles between us prevent that.
Just know that we're thinking of you and hope the comfort of your family in Florida will help you thru this.
I told Roberta today when I read of Louie's passing on-line, that I remembered very vividly going to your wedding as a little boy and the reception at the old Dan's Pavilion.That was a really big deal for me at the time and I never forgot it.
