I had the honor to know Louis only for a short time, (on the committee of adjustment) but he was a very special man, indeed. I would like you all to know, that every time I saw Louis he spoke of his family, with pride and admiration. He certainly loved his family and was very proud of everyone. He will be sadly missed.
My sincerest condolences to the Moison family.

My sincerest sympathies to the Moison family. Mr.Moison taught me in the late 60's. I always looked forward to his classes. He showed a genuine interest in everyone. He always had a smile! He had invited our class over to his house one evening. I had such a good time. It was a pleasure to meet his family. He will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved family member. M. Moison was my French teacher at BRDHS in the 80's and he is the person who started me on my path to becoming a French teacher for the past 18 years. My sincerest condolences.

The world was enriched by the life lived by Louis Moison. He taught a love for life and allowed his students the freedom to enjoy the world around them. My brother Marc informed me of his passing to his infinitely better existence today. He will be missed but never forgotted by every one of his former students. I was one of those former students in 1975,76,77 and give all the best to his beloved family,

Dear Pat & Family,
Our sincere condolences for the loss of a dear husband, father, pepe and brother. We've had many unplanned get togethers at the cancer center in Windsor. Our last was when we had out CT scans, 15 minutes apart. May God wipe your tears as you say goodbye to the cherished man in your lives.

Dear Pat and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Louie was a great mentor to me when I started teaching at Belle River HS in 1977. I always appreciated the advice and guidance he gave me as I started in this profession.
It was always a pleasure and enjoyment to see the both of you at the Europe Trip dinner meetings and exchange stories about life, travel and family.
Louie was truly a great guy who will be sadly missed.

for the family...I can't express the sadness I feel after hearing of your loss. I was one of the very fortunate students of Mr Moison. He was my home room teacher for my first year of high school (1969) and he helped shape my life. It was not easy earning his respect, but you felt gifted once you earned it. He had a great sense of humour, and was truly concerned for his students. I also baby sat for the girls a couple times, and saw the love for his family first hand. My sense of loss is nothing compared to yours, so I can't imagine what you are feeling. Please know this, that so many people today are better off having known such a wonderful human being. Thirty years later and I can still recall the laughter, the standards he set, his devotion, and the time he threw the brush at me for talking in class! I live in Montreal now, and use his teachings every day. I regret not calling him to say merci pour tout. The charming "Monsieur Moison" will be in my heart and many others for years to come.

Dear Pat and Family,
My deepest sympathy at this very difficult time. I was priveleged to have had Louis as a teacher in high school 1973-76 and have many fond memories of his sincere desire to help students to get a grasp
on the french language. I remember him to always have a smile and one who got along with anyone. He use to be so proud of his girls and when Marc came along he was so excited to have a son. I remember his love of horses and how he took such pride in his home and family. I knew his sisters, and how they looked up to him as the big brother. He was alot like his parents too, being a very hard working person. I know he will be sadly missed by all and have to say, even though I haven't seen him for many years, he left a very positive impression with me. I will always remember him.
Again so sorry for your great loss.
Sincerely,
Louan Nantais (Springer)

I am truly sorry that such a wonderful person has been taken so soon. I was a student of Mr. Moison for five years at Belle River and I cannot remember a time that he wasn't thinking of his students and how much he inspired them. My memories of Quebec City's Winter Carnival will be with me forever and it's because he taught us how to learn while experiencing new cultures and customs. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of great sorrow.
