Louise Tipton Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 14, 2018.
Louise Anne Tipton (born April 21st, 1958) -- A truly faithful, elegant and inspirational woman has left us and embarked on a journey to her eternal home heaven on Saturday, May 12, 2018 where she will be received in to the loving arms of our lord and savior -- Jesus Christ.

Louise Tipton: A story of a courageous and determined life. From the day of birth she already had to face and conquer a major challenge. Louise was a baby born without hip sockets and she had to be placed in an uncomfortable cast for a year, but that wouldn't keep her down. She quickly managed to figure out how to flip over and maneuver around. Once out of the cast she began walking right away. This ability to successively overcome a challenge became indicative of future accomplishments.

Louise developed in to a very thoughtful, loving, admirable and endearing woman with many desirable characteristics. She was not a person that would fit a standard profile, the mold was broke when she was created. She never claimed to be wonder woman, she didn't have to. Louise was humble and her accomplishments spoke for themselves. While being a mother of two children and a full time employee, Louise attended college at night at Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO over a 10 year period of time where her persistence and diligence was awarded with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Louise had a fulfilling career in Denver, CO. She climbed the ladder all the way from a customer service representative to an executive secretary for a chairman of the board at Rocky Mountain News. Followed by the position of office manager at Empire Metal Spray and then as an accountant for Aurora Public Schools. Of all the aspects involved in a career, she was most grateful for and valued the relationships she developed the most.

Life certainly has its challenging as well as wearisome moments, but Louise chose to keep her head held high with a positive outlook and remained hopeful no matter what the circumstances were. Her Christianity and her love of Jesus Christ was of great importance to her and she remained faithful to the end. Louise thoroughly enjoyed teaching Sunday School for children at Galilee Baptist Church. She felt that was very rewarding because of her love of children. Jesus would certainly concur that Louise met the criteria in 2nd Timothy 4:7 and say to her "you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you kept the faith"

Louise will be lovingly remembered by all and she is survived by her husband and best buddy of 19 years - Jim Tipton, her mother Clara Smith, brother Brian Smith, son Anthony (Jennifer) Vittoria, daughter Angela (Ray) DeBolt and 4 grandchildren, Kaley, Kyle, Isabella and Madisen.

Louise's body might have succumbed to cancer, but her heart, mind and soul were left unscathed. Nothing on this earth could have stopped the love that poured out of Louise's warm kind heart. Nothing could diminish the determination of her strong willed mind to make a positive impact on others no matter what the circumstances were. Louise was able to part with the widely held Christian sentiment as it is sung "It is well, it is well with my soul".

A celebration of Louise's life will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 -- 11:00 a.m. -- Galilee Baptist Church -- 1091 S. Parker Rd, Denver CO 80231. Reception to follow service at the church. Join us as we reflect back on her life on earth and send her on her way to heaven.

In lieu of flowers it would be greatly appreciated if you would consider donating to Galilee Baptist Church Mentor Program. Bless You!

We too are just now learning of Louise's passing. So emotional.
What a beautiful celebration of life describing sweet Louise perfectly. We are deeply saddened that we didn't get to hug Louise (or Jim) in her final days. We were blessed to be their neighbors for seven years, from 2000-2007; We were newly weds and began our family on Xanthia Ct. Jim and Louise were fantastic people that quickly became our friends. Always working in their yard, which was beautifully manicured, or taking their nightly walks, we'd end up talking curbside a lot. Having our three children in 3.5 years, Louise would regularly have a package of skittles or a treat for them in her hand and a smile. She will always be in our hearts & minds, she was a faithful servant of God. Always an inspiration, I remember her sharing with me, how she began each morning with her morning bible study time. Jim, we will call you after the new year. Til then our friend, I'm sure she is having one beautiful Christmas with Christ our Lord. All our love, Tim and Kathy

I am just now learning of her passing while looking up friends on Facebook. I worked with Louise almost 40 years ago and I can still, to this day, remember her tremendous kindness and pure
Spirit. I regret that I did not keep in touch but I will always remember her as a truly good, shining light whose genuine specialness' could not be lost on those who knew her. God keep
You in his grace, Louise...

Louise was a very special person whom I've known since we were kids. I remember her when walking home together up the hill and her wonderful laugh. She was a light in the darkness, sweet, and kind. I don't live close enough to attend her service, but I am so sad to hear she has passed and I am sure the loss of her in your life will be great. Know that she has always been loved, adored, and appreciated! May she rest in peace and may her beautiful voice expand the heavens as she praises our Lord. Cynthia Valdez aka Cindy White

We never got the privilege to meet Louise, but through knowing and meeting Jim this past year we have heard how amazing she truly was. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family and are thinking of you all through this time. May we rest our peace in knowing that she is walking with the Lord. With Love,

My husband and I met Louise and Jim in the hospital...it didn't take long to know that Louise was a beautiful person. So blessed to have known her. God bless the family and friends.

I have been Louise and Jim's neighbor for almost 20 years, but I really got to know Louise recently because we both had ovarian cancer and she supported me as I navigated treatment, even though she was in the midst of her own battle and still working full-time. What a gift it was to hear her voice on the phone and to know she was praying for me. What a dear, sweet, strong and inspiring woman she was. I would like to offer my condolences to Jim and Louise's loved ones. She was a precious lady and I will never forget her.

Please accept my sincere condolences dear family and friends. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. And may you find hope and comfort in God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and "make you firm". (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17)
