Luca Foley Obituary
Luca lived up to his name, bringer of light. He brought so much love and hope into our lives and continues to do so. Although few had the opportunity to meet Luca in person, he managed to touch the lives of so many. He had the brightest of eyes that sparkled with life and beamed when he heard the familiar voices of his Papa, Mama and big brother as well as his caring nurses and therapists. We are beyond grateful for the miracle and gift of Luca. His light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever and we know that we will be reunited with him once again in heaven.
Family and friends are all welcome to join us in gathering for a funeral mass to celebrate Luca's life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Andrew Church, 3546 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60657. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Luca's life can be made to SOFT (Support Organization For Trisomy 18) or Ronald McDonald House Charities.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Thank you for the HONOR of being one of Lucas´ primary nurses. I will forever cherish our morning finger holds and chats filled with endless laughter. Luca was deeply loved by all of the nurses and doctors that cared for him. Luca loved his morning music routine and hair combs, but nothing compared to mama and papa singing to him during cuddle time each and everyday. Big brother Johnny Leonard visits always made bright eyed Luca twinkle his toes with happiness, filled with lots of kisses, laughs and fun. Luca brought life, love, and light to so many people and we will carry him in our hearts forever. Love you all !
