Lucille A. (Brault) DuBois, 90, a longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at the Brookdale Sugar Land Retirement Community surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born at home on Lafayette Street in the Aldenville section of Chicopee on March 8, 1928, a beloved daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Dionne) Brault. She was raised in Aldenville, graduated from the former Cathedral High School in Springfield and lived in Aldenville until 1965 when she moved to Sunnyvale, California. In 1973, she relocated to Houston, Texas and lived there until 1999 when she returned to Aldenville. Following the passing of her beloved husband in 2014, she relocated to Sugar Land, Texas. Lucille was employed as an Accountant for the Shell Oil Company and retired in 1990. She was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. Most of all, she was a quiet woman who was a wonderful homemaker to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond E. DuBois who was Called Home on June 15, 2014. They were married on May 1, 1948 at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville and were blessed with over 66 years of happiness together. She leaves her two devoted sons, Wayne R. DuBois and his wife, Janice, of Sugar Land, TX and Gary P. DuBois and his wife, Susan, of Altadena, CA; her two cherished grandchildren, Melissa DuBois and her fiancé, Manuel Stubb, of Bronx, NY and Colin DuBois and his fiancée, Ana Lucia Fuentes, of New Jersey; her cherished great-grandson, Anthony Stubb; her loving brother, Paul Brault and his wife, Rita, of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the DuBois and Brault families. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her loving brother, Roland Brault who was Called Home in 1970. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the Mass.
