Tulare - Lupe Sanchez, 56 passed away on April 3 2018. He was born on June 6, 1961 in Tulare Ca., the son of Herculano and Rufina Sanchez.

Lupe graduated from Tulare Western High School in 1979. After high school he married his high school sweetheart, Ramona Santos. Lupe was dedicated to his family and job. He was employed by the Tulare City School district for 22 years. He loved fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He was funny and loved to joke and make people laugh. Lupe was a kind and generous person. He loved his dog Stubs who was his sidekick for many years.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Sanchez. His living family include three children he and his wife raised and loved and considered very much their own, Luis Gonzalez of Hawthorne, Jessica Gonzalez-Santos of Tulare, Desiree Gonzalez of Long Beach, His six brothers, Jessie Sanchez of Tulare, George Sanchez of Tulare, RefugioSanchez of Tulare, Jaime Sanchez of Fresno, Joe Sanchez of Vallejo, Sal Sanchez of Vallejo and his three sisters, Mary Madrid of Tulare, Mercedes Rivera of Tulare, and Leticia Torres of Tulare. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing is Thursday April 12, 2018 from 3-7pm at Peers- Lorentzen Funeral home located at 132 W. Kern Ave. in Tulare.

Rosary and Mass will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 at 9am at Saint Rita's Church location is 954 S. O St, in Tulare.

Burial will be held at the North Cemetery in Tulare. Immediately following the burial, family and friends will gather at the Elks Lodge located at 1535 E. Bardsley Ave. in Tulare to celebrate his life.
