Lynn Livingston Obituary

HAMPTON – Lynn Russell Livingston Jr., 37, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006, at his home, where he lived for several years.
Born April 27, 1969, in Norton, he was the loving son of Lynn and Grace (Blair) Livingston. He joined the Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was a graduate of John I. Burton High School, attended New River College, Virginia State College and Wise County Technical School, where he became a welder. He was employed at Howmet Castings in Newport News. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved being with his family.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Johnny and Mabel Blair; and paternal grandparents, Denver and Estella Livingston.
In addition to parents, he is survived by wife, Ruby (Woods) Livingston; son, Russell Livingston III; and daughter, Kamora Livingston, all of Hampton; sisters, Amy Livingston, Orange, N.J., and Ava Livingston, Elizabeth, N.J.; three nieces; nine uncles; eight aunts; and host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, in the Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where funeral services will follow. Burial will be in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap.
