Lynn Thompson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 12, 2025.
Lynn Marie Thompson, age 73, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully after several years living with dementia, cared for by her devoted husband John Thompson. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Lynn was the middle of three daughters born to Ervin and Valeria Wendzinski. Lynn is survived by her sister Mary Rozumalski, and her sister Julie Humphries is welcoming her to heaven.

On November 3, 1979, Lynn married her husband, John, with whom she shared more than 45 years of love and commitment. Together, they raised two children, Rebecca and Adam, and later welcomed their daughter-in-law, Chelsea, into the family. Their loving marriage was a rare and beautiful gift, cherished by their children as a lasting example of true love and devotion.

Funeral services will be held on Friday Sept 19 at St. Vincent Palloti Parish West at 201 N. 76th St, in Milw. Visitation will take place from 9am-11am, with a Mass at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery at 3801 S. 6th St, in Milw. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Elaines Hope/Lutheran Home, in Lynn's memory. I´m so sorry for your loss. Lynn was a special person filled with love for all. It was always a good time when the families got together. The laughter amongst the cousins and the fun we had on picnics on the beach, along with other trips we made together. She loved her family so much and talked highly of them all. I pray for the family and always remember to keep those awesome memories close to your heart.
