Lynne March Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 12, 2025.
Lynne March, a vibrant and cherished soul, passed away peacefully May 6th, leaving behind a legacy painted with love, loyalty, and connection. For 61 years, she shared an unbreakable bond with her devoted husband and best friend, John, creating a masterpiece of a life together.

Lynne approached the world as her canvas, each moment full of warmth and creativity. An independent and accomplished woman, she found joy in collaboration, always ready to listen, counsel, and uplift those around her. Her friendships were marked by unwavering loyalty, and to know her was to be touched by her boundless compassion and grace. She was born in San Francisco, but grew up in Sacramento and attended local schools in the Land Park area. She was an Interior Designer and was involved in many local clubs and charities. In 1994, Lynne and John moved to Pacific Grove where she worked as a travel agent and was a volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for almost 20 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, John; her sons, Chris and Andy; and her beloved grandchildren, who brought endless light to her life. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Petois and the sister of the late Jay Petois. The family wants to give a special thanks for the loving and tender care she received from her caregivers during the final months of her life: Firuza, Mele, Lupe, and Kesaia. Our appreciation also to the Hospice of the Central Coast through Montage Health. Gifts of remembrance may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, Monterey Bay Aquarium, or a charity of choice. Lynne's spirit will forever live on in how we approach life, and will forever be cherished in our hearts.
