Lynne Whetton Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 10, 2017.
In Loving Memory
December 3, 2017, Lynne Lucille Whetton, 85, passed away at the home she shared with her daughter, Heather in Salt Lake City, UT.
Lynne resented having her driving privileges revoked due to Parkinson's disease, was frequently confused by the remote control and didn't like the name Lucille. As a single parent she managed to raise 4 awesome humans and several loving felines. She was a talented dressmaker, loved interior design and eating out. She survived breast cancer, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chronic pain and the devastating death of her eldest child, Eden. She never thought she would live this long - she never gave herself credit for being as strong as she was.
She is survived by her Children: David B. Tuttle (Maureen), Matthew M. Whetton (Lori Anne), Heather L. Tuttle; 6 Grandchildren: Mitch, Brooke, Samantha, David, Chance and Marquel; 4 Great Grandchildren: Kieran, Hailey, Liam and Sofia with 1 on the way; Brothers: James Whetton (Marion) and Dr. Russell Whetton (Helyn). She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Raynor and Lillian Lucille Edwards Whetton, Daughter: Eden Tuttle and Siblings: Gary Whetton and Catherine Whetton.
The family will honor her life by a private graveside service where she will be laid to rest in the Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, UT.
