Mabel Marie Johnson

Mabel Marie Johnson, beloved wife, mother and grandma. Born to John and Ida Swartsfager, Sept. 18, 1923, and went to be with the Lord July 17, 2009.
Mabel worked for Nu-Way Cleaners for many years. She loved flowers and liked working in her flower garden.
Her children and family were very precious to her.
Mabel was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida; two sisters, Mae and Nelly; and two brothers, Ernie and Albert.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth; four daughters, Butch Johnson and husband Bobby Joe of Jacksonville, Ore., Dorothy Brochue of Oxford, N.Y., Carol Ross of Placentia, Calif., and Ruth Wiggins and husband Don of Glendale Ore.; one son, Richard Babcock of Eagle Point, Ore.; and over 50 grand, great and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens, Thursday, September 23, at 10:00 a.m.

Grandma..Just want you to know how much i love you..I was so happy to have taken care of you the last days..I know you are with the lord where you have no pain and are awating us all one day..Please continue to look over us all..I want to thank you for being such a wonderful grandma to us all and being the mother you were to my mom who has passed the love to us all and us to our children..I was so lucky to have the dream grandmother that many people can only dream of..You touched many in ways you will never know with your beauty and kind spirit..Please dont worry about grandpa we will continue to love him just as we always have..I know when my day comes and the lord calls me home i will have a grandmother awaiting me with open arms to welcome me in..Heaven has never seemed more personel to me than now..Please keep cricket close by. we love you grandmaw and untill we meet again''goodbuy''
