I will never forget Christmas Eves at your house. Party was always over for us once Mrs Newman would kick me out of the little room by the door with the liquor. Mrs. Newman was the one that gave me the nickname "Macky" (later changed to "Iffy" by Kristen). I remember you and Mr. Newman taking John and i back up to college being parked on the exit ramp of the highway in the city while you gave John and I sandwiches in the back seat. The world has just lost one of the most classiest woman I have had the privilege of knowing. Madeleine was a great friend in every sense of the word. My heart goes out to her entire family as well as my thoughts and prayers.

My Fondest memory of Madeleine was in my kitchen in Brooklyn. The song, "Lipstick On Your Collar" was on the radio. Madeleine scooped me up (I was 6) and danced with me, while singing along with Connie Francis. I thought she was the greatest.
I thought right. With her blonde locks and statuesque height, she was very popular indeed. My Aunt Rose (one of her best friends) showed me photo albums with many pictures of parties she attended, either that were thrown by Madeleine or went to with Madeleine.
As years went by and we all moved away, I don't believe I saw her again until Margie and Fred's wedding. I am so glad I got to see her then. She hadn't changed a bit.
My heart goes out so much to the Gibson family, who was practically my second family, when we lived a few houses from from them in Queens in the '50s. My sister,Tricia and I all became best friends with Margie then, and are still dear friends to this day,all beginning with the friendship of Madeleine and Aunt Rose.
