To the Lamson family:
I never met you or Maddie. I am just a resident of Franklin who is deeply grieved by Maddie's death. I have lived long enough to see the deaths of many people who were close to me, some under tragic circumstances. Yet, Maddie's passing strikes me as perhaps the saddest of any I have heard about or experienced first hand. I pray that God will comfort you throughout this terrible ordeal and that you will take comfort in the realization that she brought so much joy to you and others during her time on this earth.

I don't know the Lamson family, nor did I have the pleasure of meeting Maddie but as a resident of Medway, I wanted to send my deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved Maddie and from everything I have read, there were so many people who did. She clearly made a positive impact in so many lives. She is now in the palm of God's loving hand and able to look out for all those she knew. Pray to her that she continues to impart her wonderful and loving spirit in you each time you think of her.

The deepest abyss of pain and grief the human spirit can endure, is the death of your child. Although I never knew this girl I know the pain as my son died a year and a half ago.
