Madeline F. Robinson

1933 – 2016

Madeline Robinson passed November 16, after a brief illness. She was born July 9, in Brunswick Georgia.

Attended and graduated Risley High School, Brunswick GA. Attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta GA. Graduated Cum-Lau-De and received a B.A. Degree in Sociology/History. Attended San Francisco State University received a M.A Degree in Education and a M.S. Degree in Pupil Personnel. She was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, San Francisco Chapter. She was employed 42 years at San Francisco Unified School District and taught at several Elementary and Middle Schools. She was a full time Counselor at Visitation Valley Middle School in San Francisco. A very active and devoted member of Pilgrim Community Church, San Francisco. She worked and supported several OMI, and Community projects over the past years. She was a leader and stood strong for the causes that she was passionate about. Her strongest passion was Education.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Harrlyn Robinson-Lacy (Larry), Gaycia Parks, one granddaughter Olivia Madeline Parks, grand dogs, Stogie B Lacy, Lu-Lu Parks, and a host of wonderful cousins, nephews, God children and friends.

A Special acknowledgement to our extended families, Kays, Words, Wills and Halls.

Madeline fought a good fight, she completed her course, she is ready to receive her crown.....Good night our "Queen".

Friends may visit Thursday, December 1st, 4pm to 9pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. A Home going Celebration of Madeline's life will be held on Friday, December 2nd, 11am at Pilgrim Community Church, 400 Randolph St., SF. Burial to follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma.
