BODEUX _ Mae Marie Mae Marie Bodeux passed away peacefully at Colonel Belcher Care Centre on January 9, 2005 at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her loving husband Louis; sons, Gary (Bonnie) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Joe (Beverly) and children, Brett, Jared and Michelle of Cold Lake, AB; and daughter Brenda (Dale) Frayn and children, Mallory and Addison of Calgary, AB. Mae was born December 22, 1922 in Botha, AB. Mae moved to Calgary after finishing high school and attended Henderson College; after which she pursued a career as a secretary. Her first position was at No. 2 Wireless School where she made many lifelong friends. Mae married Louis Bodeux in 1949. They resided in Calgary where they raised their three children in the community of Rosemont. Mae was very outgoing and a loyal Soulmate, Mother, Grammie and Friend. Mae gave of her time in various organizations including the church, community, Foothills Hospital Library and the highlight being the 1988 Winter Olympics where she and Lou again made many lasting friendships. Mom always put family first and made sure Sunday afternoons were a time to go on a picnic or a trip to the mountains. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 14, 2005 in the CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W. (inside Queen's Park Cemetery) at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, it was Mae's sincerest wish that donations be made directly to the charity of your choice. All of the kerl family will truly miss our Aunty Mae.May your family gain strength knowing that she was loved and appreciated by each one of us.We are so glad we had the opportunity to visit her this past summer.God Bless.

I worked with mae for a number of years in the foothills hospital libary and became quite fond of her she will truly be missed by all who knew her
