ROWE MAMIE RUTH FLOWERS
Age 85, of Clairton, departed this life Thursday, October 13, 2016, in AHN Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born April 24, 1931, in Brundidge, AL, daughter of the late Alex and Jasie Bell Snells Flowers and wife of the late Willie Clarence Rowe, Sr. She was preceded in death by son, Willie Rowe, Jr.; and grandson, Frank Rowe. She was a faithful member of First A.M.E. Church and served on the Usher Board, Steward Board, was the Sunday School Secretary, and a Majority Inspector of Elections 2nd Ward City of Clairton for Allegheny County. Surviving are four daughters, Betty (Duane) Ramsuer of Clairton, Brenda Exalien of Orlando, FL, Melony (Lance) Rowe-Hollis of Atlanta, GA, Linda Jean Wooten of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Vester (Jackie) Rowe of Pittsburgh, PA, Ralph (Patricia) Rowe of Claymont, DE; one sister, Marie Matthews of Saginaw, MI; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends will be received Monday from 4-8 p.m. at First African Methodist Episcopal Church, 177 Mitchell Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Linda Moore, officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. Arrangements entrusted to the ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., Clairton, PA.
