Manuel Enrique Martin Obituary
Born on August 7, 1963 in Havana, Cuba, Enrique lived a life marked by creativity, humor, and compassion - qualities that are reflected in Feng Shui practice, which values finding the flow of positive energy and creating a more beautiful and harmonious world.
Enrique devoted his career to public service as a public defender, advocating for those in need. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. Beyond the courtroom, he pursued his passion for Eastern philosophy and became a certified Feng Shui practitioner. As the owner of the Feng Shui Institute of El Paso, Enrique created a beloved community and helped many find balance and insight in their lives.
Enrique was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Enrique Martin and Mary L. Martin, his brother, Pedro Martin; and his brother-in-law, Scott Segall (Julia).
He is survived by his loving children, Victor Martin (Julianna), and Camille Martin, and his granddaughter, Eloise Najette Martin. He also leaves behind his siblings Maria Elvira Martin-Diemer (Joel), Julia Martin, and Juan Carlos Martin (Sayeh); as well as his nieces and nephews: Carlos Martin; Paco and Raquel Diamos; Leily, Saam, and Elia Martin.
Enrique's life is defined by his vibrancy and unique touch in making the world around him more beautiful. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life for Enrique will be held on Monday, June 9 at 9am at 150 Sunset Rd, El Paso, TX. The date and time for this celebration was chosen with intention as the number 9 symbolizes completion, longevity, and fulfillment. Please wear bright colors to honor and celebrate his vibrant spirit.

I met Enrique on the first day of law school. I sat next to him at an event that was to welcome new students. It was law school, so the "welcome" was tinged with threats like, if you have any criminal charges against you including speeding tickets, now is the time to speak up", and "look to the left, look to the right, one or two of you will be gone in three years".
Enrique was cracking jokes the whole time. We became friends and often studied together in the library. We had classes together and the cartoons he drew of the teachers kept us sane. He had a big heart. He wanted to be a lawyer so that he could be a public defender in his hometown. We both graduated. Barely. But we did it. Here's to you, Enrique, and finally, no more potatoes ;)

Oh so Sad to hear Enrique passed away. I remember going to Meetings he had, learned alot . He had such a Kind Heart! A True MAN with a KIND HEART and SOUL. Enrique you will be GREATLY MISSED; RIP!
