GOLD, Manuel Theodore (Teddy).
Peacefully at home in Montreal in his eighty-sixth year on Thursday morning July 27, 2006. Beloved husband of Elayne Maron. Loving brother of Dr. Michael Gold and brother-in-law of the late Eileen Gold. Devoted father and father-in-law of Nancy Gold and Eliot Morrison, Joanne Gold Cummings and Richard Cummings, Lynda Gold, Norman Gold and Allison Lightstone. Adored grandfather of Gabriel Simms, Jordan Cummings, Daniel Cummings and Tova Rose, Ariel Simms, Angela Cummings, Ashley Gold and Lucas Gold. Cherished by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Teddy graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Engineering in 1943. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces before embarking on his career. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, Montreal 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday July 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Mt. Royal Blvd. Shiva at the home of Lynda Gold, 3982 Cote Des Neiges Building A Apt 23 , Montreal, Qc H3H 1W2 daily from 2-4 p.m. Evening services at 8 p.m. In honour of Teddy's memory contributions may be made to Jewish National Fund, (514) 934-0313. Teddy's memory will forever live in all our hearts and minds.
