BOVET, Marc. 1914-2003. Peacefully on September 6, 2003 at Notre Dame Hospital in Montreal, at the age of eighty-nine years, passed away Marc Bovet, Founder of Bovet men's clothing stores. He leaves to mourn his wife Madeleine (Dupuis) Bovet and his sons Pierre, Jacques and Marc-Andre, his beloved daughters-in-law and grandchildren; Claude Bourgie, wife of Pierre Bovet and their children: Francois, Sylvie and Alain. Joan Leblanc, wife of Jacques Bovet and their children: Mathieu-Alexandre, Katherine and Gabrielle. Michelle Tremblay, wife of Marc-Andre Bovet and their children: Marc-Antoine, Charles-Olivier, Frederique and Victor. He also leaves to mourn his brother-in-law Bernard Dupuis (Mado Brouillet), his sisters-in-law Jacqueline (Dupuis), Noel (late Philippe Noel) and Germaine (Pare) Dupuis, (late Gaston Dupuis), as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive condolences at Complexe Funeraire Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal, www.urgelbourgie.com. The funeral will be held Wednesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph de Mont Royal Church, 1620 Laird Blvd., thence to Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fondation de L'hopital Sacre Coeur de Montreal or to Cancer Research would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, September 9, 2003 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Wednesday, September 10 as of 9 a.m.
