Marc Corbalis Obituary
April 16, 1953 - June 20, 2017
MISHAWAKA - Marc Corbalis, age 64, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was born on April 16, 1953, in Freeport, NY, to Walter George Corbalis and Carolyn Irene Corbalis Daegling. On July 18, 2009, in Granger, IN, Marc married Beverly Vana, who survives him.
Marc is also survived by his sons, Josh Corbalis, Brandon (Paige) Corbalis, and Marcus (Shonda) Walson; his daughter, Erin (Scott) Hirdning; his stepson, Rex (Amanda) Gard, and stepdaughter, Mychell (Paul) Lass; thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters, Meg, Karen, Sandra and Beth; and brother, Scott. Marc was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jeffrey.
Marc served his country honorably for thirteen years in the United States Navy. He held a degree in criminal justice and loved riding his Harley. Marc enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
A memorial service and military honors will be held in honor of Marc on June 24th at 1 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to the service.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Marc may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.

Marc was my friend and coworker at Bosch. I remember him as a man of God and someone that had a funny sense of humor. I will miss him until I see him again when we both walk the streets of gold as one family.

I haven't seen Marc in like 40 years,but we share niece's and a nephew.You know my heart hurts really bad for the whole family.It is comforting to know he is with GOD,but will be sorely missed by all.
