Jarvis Marcia (Evanson) Jarvis was born in Albert Lea on May 27, 1922 and died on September 21 of complications resulting from heart problems and recently discovered cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Mabel Evanson; sisters, Dorothy Bartusch, Connie Farry, and Barbara Kelly; brothers, Bill, Dick, and Louis. Survived by husband, Donald Jarvis; sisters, Ellen Boerger of Utica, NY, and Janet Stewart of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Evanson of Cadott, WI, Virginia Evanson of Depew, NY, and Jean Gibbons of West St. Paul, MN; nephews and nieces, Rick (Joyce) Bartusch, Bill (Cathy) Bartusch, Tim (Nancy) Bartusch, Barb (Dennis) Countryman, Dede (John) Leininger, Mark (Carla) Bartusch, Jean Bartusch, Cindy (Pat) Ennis, Paul (Madonna) Bartusch, and Maura Gibbons; numerous out-of-town nephews and nieces plus many grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Married in Sioux Falls, SD in 1949 and first husband died in South Bend, IN in 1970. Worked in Sioux Falls, SD; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; and South Bend, IN. In South Bend, she was Director of Human Resources for Goodwill Industries of Michigan. In April 2000, she met up with old friend Donald Jarvis and they were married on May 2, 2001. Memorial Service at 7 pm, Monday, September 23 at St. Peters Church in Richfield. In lieu of flowers, send memorial to St. Peters Endowment Fund.

We will miss her greatly, and I will forever be grateful for the kindness she continued to show my daughter during her illness. Marcia was never failing in remembering Jennifer with notes and cards. I hope she knew how much these meant to Jennifer, and myself. God Bless and hold you dear
