Marcus Collins (Mark) Cade, 75, of Frankfort, Ohio, passed from this life on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Chillicothe Post Acute under Heartland Hospice Care after an extended illness. He was born on August 7, 1949, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Marcus Sayre Cade and Eleanor Lucille (Collins) Cade. On February 16, 1973, he married Nancy (Cassill) Cade, who survives. Together they shared 52 years of marriage. Also surviving are daughter Rachel (Cade) Peterman and husband Dusty Harper of Johnstown, Ohio; granddaughter Hailey Peterman and Fiancé Daniel Frattalone of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers Daniel Cade and wife Victoria of Gahanna, Ohio and Ronald Cade and wife Rebecca of Fairborn, Ohio; nieces Catherine Ritchie and husband Timothy of Chillicothe, Ohio, Michelle Evans and husband Scott of Galena, Ohio; nephews Thomas C. Martin and wife Lisa of Grove City, Ohio; Brian Cade and wife Caitlyn of New Jersey; Adam Frump of Columbus, Ohio; and Isaac Cade and wife Esa of Fairborn, Ohio. Also surviving are great-nieces, nephews, an aunt and uncle, cousins and other friends. Special appreciation is expressed to his life-long friend, Scott Merrill of Chillicothe, Ohio. He was predeceased by sister, Sharon Martin and husband, Thomas L. Mark was a 1967 graduate of Chillicothe High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from Ohio University and Master's degree from Xavier University. He retired from Kroger Bakery in Columbus, Ohio, with 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He enjoyed photography and the companionship of his dog, Quinn. The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Chillicothe Post Acute for their professional care and loving kindness during his illness.

A mass of celebration of life will take place at 12pm on July 30th, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Ohio, with Father John Brown officiating. A light lunch will be provided. All are invited and welcome to attend.

At Mark's request, cremation has taken place, and he will be interred at Frankfort

Greenlawn Cemetery following lunch.
