I have such fond memories of Peggy from the years we shared in The Nine Holers @ Whitford Country Club. Peggy was always cheerful & never failed to light up the room. She always spoke fondly of husband Bern & her family. We are all better people to have known such a kind and dear lady.

In high school and beyond, anytime I was at the Gawley house, I would always be greeted with a warm welcoming smile, laugh and a caring spirit. I always thought of Mrs. Gawley(Peggy) as a straight-shooter who was kind, caring and funny...I really liked her sense of humor. She will be very missed but truly left a great legacy. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

Peggy and I had so much fun playing tennis, mainly at East Whiteland. One time we played and won shortly after she came back from hurting her wrist. "not bad for a cripple and a midget" was her comment. We had a lot of laughs. She will be missed.
