Margaret M. Boyle, 94, died August 9, 2017 at Lanfair Nursing Home in Lancaster, Ohio. She was predeceased by her parents George and Emma Dreese of New Lexington, Ohio where she was born and raised. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Lacey in 1944 and Thomas H. Boyle in 1975. After the birth of her children, she lived her entire life in New Straitsville, Ohio. Margaret is survived by her children, Thomas J. and Betty Boyle, John L. and Connie Boyle, Constance and Henry Thrapp, Patrick and Mary Jo Boyle, Marianne and Edward Irwin, and Rosemarie and Oscar Diaz. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren. Survivors also include her siblings, Rita Sedmak, Rose and Albert Smith, Dorothy and James McLain, Fr. John Dreese, Dr. Richard Dreese, Claire Miller; and sisters-in-law, Sue Boyle and Rita Jo Boyle and their children; many other nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren, and grand-nieces and nephews mourn her death. Visiting hours will be held at St. Bernard Church, Corning, Ohio on Friday, August 11 from 3-7 p.m. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. On Saturday, August 12 a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon at St. Bernard Church. Friends may call prior to the mass. Fr. Mark Ghiloni and Fr. John Dreese will preside. Burial will follow the Mass immediately at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in New Straitsville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Straitsville Public Library or the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Corning, Ohio.
