CAMERON _ Margaret Helen (nee Hunter) 1909 - 2003 It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Helen Cameron announces her passing on July 19, 2003. At the time of her death, she had resided at the Rockyview Lodge in Crossfield. Following a brief illness, Margaret passed away, surrounded by her loving family. She spent the last three weeks in Unit 72, Foothills Hospital, and Crossbow Care West, where she received loving care. Many thanks to all the staff who cared for Margaret. Margaret was born in Salem, Oregon on November 8, 1909. In 1918 she moved with her parents to the homestead on the Dog Pound Creek. She lived in this community until moving to Crossfield Manor/Lodge in 1985. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Angus, parents Jim and Zena Hunter of Dog Pound, grandson Bradley Bowhay of Regina, daughter-in-law Jenny Cameron and son-in-law Ken Eichel. She is survived by her children, Janet (Don) Bowhay of Airdrie, Angie (George) McBain of Cochrane and Cremona, Rita (John) Green of Nanton, Kathie Eichel of Calgary, Jim Cameron of Dog Pound, and Ross Cameron of Calgary; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Irene Kelly of Regina; as well as many cousins and their families. A Memorial Service will be held in the Cremona Community Hall on Monday, July 28, at 2:00 p.m., with the Reverend Lois Birnie officiating and Sharon Bowman as pianist. A private Graveside Service will be held in Carstairs. Memorial tributes in Margaret's memory may be made to the Dog Pound Bluebird Ladies (c/o R. Judd, RR 2, Crossfield, AB T0M 0S0), Rockyview Lodge Memorial Fund (Box 159, Crossfield, AB T0M 0S0), or a charity of one's choice.
