Margaret Ann Carroll

Margaret Ann Carroll, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, May 22 2025. She was born February 8, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joseph and Antonina Belvedere.

Margaret attended the Academy of Mary Immaculate and graduated from Notre Dame Catholic School. She graduated from Midwestern State University where she was also active in her Chi Omega sorority and received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She dedicated 10 years of administrative work for FWA Drilling Company, and 7 years as a teacher's aid with WFISD. Margaret was active in youth ministry at both Sacred Heart and Our Lady Queen of Peace churches. She later continued her ministry work by sharing her love of music with the OLQP and Our Lady of Guadalupe church choirs.

In between her studies and work as a young adult, she traveled to Ireland and England. She also answered God's call years later to service on a mission trip to Haiti, working with the Missionaries of Charity as they cared for orphaned children.

Her sense of adventure would often take her to new places around the U.S. with her husband, Wendell. She had a special love for anyone who could make her laugh, especially her children. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and growing in love of the Lord.

Margaret was a loving friend, sister, wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Antonina Belvedere and daughter Joanna Carroll. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Wendell Carroll and her children Michael of Nashville, Tennessee; Daniel (wife Amanda and grandchildren Carter and Isabel) of Jefferson City, Tennessee; and Emily Carroll of New York City. She is also survived by her siblings Monica Belvedere of Wichita Falls, Texas; Nancy (husband Tim) of Jasper, Alabama; Joseph (wife Alesa) of Westlake, Texas; and Paul (wife Cindy) of Canyon Lake, Texas.

Her funeral will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday June 14th at 11am.
