MARGARET DONOVAN Obituary
After a courageous fight, on August 17, 2018. Wife of the late Matthew M. Donovan; mother of Peggy (Bob Brasko) Clayton, John (Joann) Donovan, and the late Maureen (Jim) Poellot; mother-in-law of the late David Clayton; grandmother of Daniel Clayton, Kayleigh Donovan, and Sarah Poellot; sister of Larry (Peggy) Gibbons. Mumsy was a kind, gentle woman who worked so hard to take care of her family. Her remarkable strength and unwavering faith in God were an example to all. She loved her children, grandchildren, and brother with all her heart. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER-FRYER, 430 Washington Ave., Bridgeville 412-221-3800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church on Tuesday, August 21, at 10 a.m. Please meet at the church. Interment will immediately follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Donovan. I have SO many fond memories of her. She took me into your family, as mine was falling apart. She took me to church, on vacations and provided the love that I so needed. She was the kindest soul that I've ever met. I'm so sorry John, Peggy, Dan and family. Dear Family,
My name is Joanie (Brickner) Nath. I am the daughter of Bill Brickner. His brother's are Harry and Gilbert. All are deceased. Matt Donovan was my dad's cousin. I've been in OLG for 35 years with my husband and now three grown children and I never knew your mom was in the parish! I would have looked her up and we could have shared memories! Nora Donovan was my confirmation sponsor.
I pass on my condolences to your family. Although I was very young when Matt passed away, my memories of your mom are lovely. My five sisters and I always liked her. She seemed a sweet spirit.
