I'm so sorry for your loss Bruce. Your mom must have been a wonderful human being to have raised such a great person in you. May the loving memories of your mother live on in you and all those who loved her.

Dick, Our hearts go out to you and your family. Though, we hadn't seen you for many years, we loved your annual card because it kept us in touch. I have known Ann since our third birthdays, her smile, her kindness and her genuine interest will always be remembered.

A Poem From the Sacco Family
To Bruce, Wendy and children
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done!
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Bruce - Sorry for your loss - although I've never met your mother I can say based on how decent you are to others. We at NY Cosmos express our condolences to you and your family.

I wish I could be in Ottawa to give my condolences in person.
I remember her smiling over macaroni and cheese lunches with John and birthday parties with the Elmdale gang, and more through the high school years.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I have such fond memories of the years in the early 50's in the residence houses at Queen's and the reunions ever since. I know what a treasure you have lost and my heart goes out to you . May God give her a warm welcome home.

I remember orange juice popsicles and warm smiles. I remember a happy, young, busy family. I remember when Martha was born. I remember Beth's "Preshie". I remember John on the sax. I remember hiking in the Gatineau hills with Bruce and Dick. I remember Bruce's art.
I will never forget Ann. She holds a special place in my heart.
All my love,
Kathy McCarthy
