Margaret McAllister

McALLISTER _ Margaret C. Margaret C. McAllister of Calgary passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Foothills Hospital on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at the age of 84 years. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son Gerry (Shirley) Hefflick and grandchildren, Laine (Brad Kitt), Brad, Christy and Dale. She is also survived by sister-in-law Pat Coward and nieces and nephews, George, Patrick, Laura and Linda. She was predeceased by her husband Cauley and brother Jack. Margaret was born in Edmonton and moved to Calgary in 1953, where she was employed by Safeway for over twenty-four years. She will be sadly missed by the many friends she made along the way. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Unit 72 of the Foothills Hospital for their care and compassion. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, February 23, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. If so desired, a memorial tribute may be made in Margaret's name directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association (No. 105, 7500 Macleod Trail S.E., Calgary, AB T2H 0L9).
