Margaret NUGENT Obituary
(formerly Meechan) Passed away at home, in Kirkintilloch, aged 78 years, on Monday, November 29, 2021. A talented seamstress and patternmaker, she loved to make beautiful, original clothes and home-goods for her family and friends. She leaves behind her brother William Meechan, son Ian, daughter Helen Maria, son-in-law Ron Kirkpatrick and beloved jack-russell Totoe. Funeral service will take place at Maryhill Crematorium (small chapel), on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11.30 am, with a lunch for family and friends at the Broadcroft Hotel in Kirkintilloch, from 12.45 pm. The interment of ashes at the Old Aisle is scheduled for Friday, December 17, at 11.00 am. Please send flowers for either the funeral service or interment directly to J&D Lawson Funeral Directors, Kirkintilloch.
