GREENSBORO — Margaret Tuttle Robinson, 72, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Beacon Place.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:15 a.m. at Morehead United Methodist Church. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the church, immediately preceding the funeral service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery.
Margaret was born in Guilford County, North Carolina on May 3, 1940. She married Kermit W. Robinson, Jr. on August 8, 1959. She graduated from Guilford College in 1961. She taught second grade at Guilford Elementary school until beginning her family. Thereafter, she was a stay-at-home mother to their three children.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Margaret is survived by her husband, Kermit W. Robinson, Jr., her son, Kermit Bryan Robinson and his wife, Angie Robinson, her daughters, Laurie Robinson Stegall, and her husband, Chris Stegall, and Susan Robinson Matthews, and her husband, Randall Matthews, all of Greensboro, N.C. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Kermit Westley Robinson, Grant Matthews, Derek Matthews, Grace Matthews, Hannah Matthews, Jessica Stegall, Sean Stegall, and Abby Stegall, all of Greensboro, NC, and her brothers, Donald Tuttle, Jay Tuttle, and Robert Tuttle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter Allen Tuttle and Ruby Simpson Tuttle. Memorial gifts may be made in lieu of flowers to Morehead United Methodist Church 3214 Horse Pen Creek Road, Greensboro, NC 27410 and Beacon Place - Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2100 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
