Margaret Townsend Obituary
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Andy Dunford; her husband, Arthur Townsend, Jr.; and son, Garry Townsend.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Davis; four children, Fancy Gilliam and husband Layne, Penny Morrison and husband Jim, Amanda Hendrix and husband Steve, and Richard Townsend; seven grandchildren, Tegan Gilliam, Cameron Tant and wife Chelsie, Kelly Ray Townsend, Audrey Hendrix, R.J. Townsend, Riley Hendrix, and James Morrison, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Madison Gilliam, Aiden Tant, and Kinsley Tant; and nieces.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Royal M. Becker, the staff of The Hospice of East Texas, and Carol Daniels for their amazing compassion and care for our mother.
If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas. Online condolences maybe left at www.burkswalkertippit.com.
