Denise, of course I remember you, and your mom and dad! What an amazing coincidence that Mrs. Margie died on the same day as Mom and was at the same funeral home! I truly feel your pain; this has been the saddest week of my life. As I waded through countless old photos last weekend, I came across many of Mom and her "card club ladies," including Mrs. Margie - photos of them with lampshades on their heads and dressed in Halloween costumes. They sure knew how to have a good time! I'd like to think that all of them who have already passed are now playing cards together in Heaven! Your mom and mine no longer need our prayers, but I will pray for you and your family as you begin the difficult adjustment to life without her.

Denise, I'm so very sorry from the bottom of my heart. I remember your Mom as a sweet soft spoken classy lady, always there for her daughter, her grandchildren. A mother's love is one of life's greatest gifts. Be strong, and have good dreams from when she was healthy, happy and full of love for life.

Margie was like a second mother to me. She welcomed me in her home when I was a young adult. She was so kind, and generous, and even helped me find a job. Even though I have not seen her in years, she still holds a special place in my heart. May she rest in peace.

My grandmother was an incredible woman who cared about her family deeply. Ever since I was a little girl, she would take care and spoil my brother and I. She was the "perfect" Gramdmother that anyone could wish for. One of the fondest memories of my Grandmother that I have is when I was over her house; at the time I was 7 or 8 years old, and my Grandfather would not allow to me have any ice cream because I hadn't finished my dinner yet. Well being the awesome Grandmother that she was, she snuck a bowl of peach ice cream to me and told me to go in the other room where no one could see me. :) It amazing what you remember as a child. She will be missed dearly by my brother and I.
Love,
Alexis & Phillip Miller
