Maria VARADY Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved mother and grandmother passed away on August 18, 2014 at the age of 79. Maria was born in Hungary and came to Canada in 1957 after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution as a member of the Sopron Faculty of Foresty, graduating from UBC in 1959. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bela, and survived by her daughter Sylvia, son Mark, son-in-law Ronald, daughter-in-law Penny and six grandchildren Gregory, Stephen, Anna, Ashley, Shelley and Heather. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at St. Joachim and Ann Roman Catholic Church, 2827 – 273 Street, Aldergrove, BC. The Funeral Mass to be held the following day at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at the same location, with Burial to follow at the Gardens of Gethsemani.
Rest in peace Maria. We love you.
