Marie Baroud Obituary

August 6, 2021
Marie Antoinette Baroud, loving partner of Gregory Gereben, passed away suddenly on August 6, 2021. Born on May 28, 1975, Marie grew up in Westfield, Massachusetts and moved to Connecticut in her late teens.
Best known for her outgoing vivacious personality, Marie made friends everywhere she went. She always wanted to help people and went out of her way to do what she could for others. Marie was a personal fitness trainer at numerous locations in Fairfield County over the years. Her devotion to helping others extended to her involvement with Black Rock Church over the past seven years. Marie loved her family. Devoted to her children and Greg, her love extended out of the home. Marie always made sure that those around her were well fed and taken care of. Marie loved to cook and her culinary experiments were given to her family, healthful and made with love, and usually delicious. Marie loved fashion; she breathed life into anything she wore.
Marie is survived by her devoted partner, Gregory Gereben and their son Greyson; Gabrielle and Mitchell Head, her children from her previous marriage to Eugene Head; Gregory's son Grant Gereben; her mother Rose Proietti and husband Pier; her father Michael Baroud; her uncle Steven Baroud; and extended family from Worcester, Massachusetts. Marie was preceded in death by her younger sister Lisa Penelope Rice.
Marie will be cremated and interred in a private ceremony. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825.

Marie was an incredible women. She had a passion for life unlike anyone I´ve ever seen. And that included her love for her children You couldn´t help but get energized when you were in her company. Life presented many obstacles for Marie, but I´ve never seen anyone work so hard to make themselves better.
I´m blessed to have known her.
God bless you Marie!
