Marie Jennifer Farmer

Marie Jennifer Farmer, a wife, mother, and music enthusiast, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2015 at the age of 59.

Marie is survived by her husband Frank Farmer; her children, Dixon A. Farmer, Fallon King, Skyler Farmer, and Karsen Farmer; their spouses, Lisa Lewis, Nathan King, and Lauren Bloomenthal; and her grandchildren, Derrea Lewis, Lorenz Washington, Ajaida Washington, Solyn Farmer, and Dixon J. Farmer

Marie was born in Spokane, WA on September 21, 1955 to Richard and Jeanne Zappone. She graduated from Mead High School, and attended Spokane Falls Community College. On August 8, 1979, she married Frank, a fellow music lover and sound technician. Together they welcomed and raised their four children.

Marie was a loving mother, nana, and caretaker. She enjoyed reading, music, concerts, and rooting for the Seattle Seahawks. She had a warm and loving heart, and worked at reconnecting with old friends, as well as making new friends in her final days. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on January 25 at Columbia Funeral Home on Rainier Avenue. A reception will follow at Arrowhead Gardens in West Seattle.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin Marie. She was my babysitter growing up in Spokane. As we moved across the state she did too. She always showed wonderful support toward my family her Uncle Joe & Aunt Tish in Olympia. Enjoy the company of your dear mom & dad who just passed a few years ago. I love you Marie.
God bless you,
Cousin Tina
