Marie MALLARD Obituary
Stanphill age 77, of Plant City, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 20, 2016 at LifePath Hospice in Sun City after a short illness and surrounded by her loving family. Following her wishes, her remains will be cremated privately. A traditional family fish fry is planned to celebrate her life. Marie, together with her late husband, Bud Mallard, was an antiques dealer and collector. She picked strawberries on her family's farm as a young girl, graduated from the last Strawberry School at Turkey Creek High School, and was a member of the 1957 Strawberry Queen court. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Fisher and Mary Schaffer; her daughters, Maria Turner and Melinda Richwine; grandsons, Trey Austin and Lane Garrett Turner; and granddaughters, Samantha Marie Howard and Sara Marie Richwine. The family asks that in lieu of gifts or flowers, donations in Marie's memory are made to LifePath Hospice.
