Marie Alaina Noel

Marie Alaina Noel (Sprute) left her earthly home on Friday, 05/26/2023, at the age of 59 after a long battle with cancer. Her years of suffering are over, and she can now watch as an angel over her beautiful daughters and grandchildren. Though born in Moscow, Idaho, Marie spent most of her childhood in Ashland, Oregon. She was active in athletics, an accomplished roller-skater, an amateur model, and she worked from an early age to fund her love for fashion, music, and travel. Marie married her childhood sweetheart, Jerry Noel, in 1985. They would be partners for 25 years, not only with their children, but also in multiple business ventures. Marie was the consummate hostess with the ability to transform any space into a sanctuary. She traveled widely to European and Caribbean countries as well as to Mexico and much of the United States. Aside from spending time with her children and grandchildren, her greatest enjoyment on this earth could be found at a classic rock concert or relaxing on a beautiful ocean beach. She loved to cook and to shop, she adored her puppies, she always had a beautiful garden, and she surrounded herself with great music, beautiful art, fragrant flowers, birds and angels, and photographs of her family. Marie is survived by her parents, Mona and Donald Baisch, and Edward and Carol Sprute; daughters Jessica Kralemann, Jennifer Ray, and Brieana Noel; grandchildren Jaycee, Roman and Layla; siblings Rosalea Noel, Andrea Finchum, Joseph Sprute, and Phillip Sprute; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. We are broken-hearted in our loss. Yet we know Marie is at peace, and we are comforted to know she now sings with the angels. We can only assume her beloved Shih Tzu, Oliver, is in her arms!
