Marie Rossi was born October 3, 1926 in Norwood, Massachusetts to Caroline and Albert Massarotti. She peacefully passed away on Monday, February 20th at Joanne's House at Hope Health Care Services surrounded by her loving family who will miss her more than words can say.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Mario, daughter, Mary Anne, her grandsons, Michael Cross, and Fletcher Schell.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Miller, (Harry, deceased), Pam Gorham, Nancy Cross (Oliver), Joanne Stahlman (Mark), Lou Ann Schell(Robert), John Rossi (Susan), Ann Marie Ashline (Frank), James Rossi (Trudi), Joseph Rossi (Amy) and 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was loved by all who knew her and was fondly known as" Mama Rossi" because of her gracious and loving spirit. She was always smiling, in good spirits and loved by all. She was a kind and gentle person whose passions were her faith, family, and friends. She was the owner of Rossi's Boutique and worked at the Naples Mole Hole and Naples Design Center, all while raising her family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM in St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive. Naples.
The family is very grateful and would like to thank Dr. Douglas Boynton, the staff at Tuscany Villa and Hope HealthCare Services for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Joanne's House at Hope HealthCare Services, www.HopeHCS.org located at 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs 34135.

My thoughts and prayers have been with you since learning of your mother's death. She was a WONDERFUL lady with a warm and affable smile. She put me at ease from the moment I first met her. (And that was 40 years ago in her dress shop.) She always made one feel welcome and you knew that she genuinely cared.
