Marie Schelski Obituary
She was born in Houston, Texas on August 15, 1947. Marie graduated from Sam Houston High School. She was married to John Lewis Schelski on April 17, 1971.
Marie Ann Schelski had a career in accounting at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was owner of Marie's Alteration. She had a passion for sewing, cooking, flowering, and her family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Clara Prazak.
She is survived by her husband, John Lewis Schelski; daughter, Diane Marie Mercer; sons, David Allen Schelski, and Thomas Edward Schelski; grandchildren, Cody Koska, Kyle Mercer, Allison Schelski, Grace Schelski, Christopher Schelski, Alyssa Schelski, and Codi Redden; great-grandchild, Kaysen Redden; siblings, Dorothy Smith, Milton Prazak, and Kathy Mosquinski.
A visitation will take place Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park the Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr, The Woodlands, Texas 77382. Interment will follow the service at Klein Cemetery, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354.

Diane I'm so sorry for your lost. Your mom was such a beautiful lady. And always excited to talk about you and her grandkids. Please let your dad know my prayers are with him and your family. I'll be here when y'all need me.
