Marietta E. "Nuppie" Seyfried 87 of Walnutport, Pa. passed away on Sept. 30, 2024 at the hospice unit of LVHC 17th St. Allentown, PA. Marietta was the wife of the late Gene G. Seyfried, married 53 years when he passed away in 2010. Marietta was born in Orefield, PA., the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Cora R. (Nagle) Bennicoff. Marietta formerly attended Schoeneck Moravian Church of Nazareth, PA serving as a diener with her husband Gene and later attended St. Johns UCC Fullerton, PA. She enjoyed her time camping with her family at Promised Land State Park and with the "Coffee Trotters" camping club. She worked in the office of Hickory Hills Mobile Home Park in Bath, PA. and was a bus trip coordinator with East Coast Touring for many years. Marietta was a devoted wife, mother, grand and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter Cora L. (Seyfried) Flannery wife of Bernie Flannery and son Lamont E. Seyfried husband of Judy (Bush) Seyfried of Walnutport, PA. Two grandchildren, Patrick and Lindsay, and five great grandchildren. Brother Theodore Bennicoff of Nazareth, PA. and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by sisters Cora, Rachel, and Luray and brothers Charles, Walter, Clarence, and Robert. Mariettas final wishes were for cremation by Allentown Funeral and Cremation Services of Orefield, PA., forgoing any formal services. A "Celebration of Life" is being planned by her children to be held at a future date.
