Marilyn Dion

Marilyn (Petrie) Dion, 83, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of the late Robert E. Dion, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with family by her side Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Born in North Adams, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Dorothy Petrie. She graduated from Manchester High School. She was employed by the Travelers Insurance Company as a Medicare supervisor.

She is survived by her devoted daughters and their families, Elaine and Les Waide of Florida, Jane and Kurt Critz of Enfield, Nancy and Arnold Repetto of Granby, and Marianne and William Daigle of Windsor Locks. She is also survived by her sisters and their families, Shirley Ramisk of South Windsor and Judy Rothe and brother-in-law, Bob, of Windsor Locks. She was predeceased by her son, Leroy "Lee" Thomas Foucher; and brother-in-law, Frank Ramisk.

Marilyn's life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Her grandchildren, Danny Rabbett and fiancé, Kami, Thomas Critz and Liz Dann, Kate and Jeremy Bourassa, Matt Repetto and Josie Maida, and Jake Critz and Laura Chicorka. Her great grandchildren, Casey, Megan and D.J. Rabbett and Hudson and Jacob Bourassa.

Marilyn enjoyed her family with all her heart and soul and will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours Saturday, May 13, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St. A funeral service celebrating Marilyn's life will follow the visiting hour at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
