GIDILLINI, Mario It is announced with much sadness, that Mario Gidillini passed away peacefully on September 29, 2011, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, at 72 years of age. Loving partner of Valerie Allard. Dear father of Claudio Gidillini and wife Maria, Maurizio Gidillini, Gianpiero Gidillini and wife Sabrina, and their mother Gina Gidillini. Predeceased by parents Fernando and Carmina. Cherished grand-father of Cristian, Giada, Sienna, and predeceased by Gabriele. Brother of Antonio Gidillini (the late Francis), Olindo Gidillini (Arlene), Oreste Gidillini (Rosalie), Giovanni Gidillini (Nina), and Fernando Gidillini (Mary). He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, and several cousins in Italy, Australia, and USA. Also remembered by Sandra Stein and Michael Allard and Devon Deschamps. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. Mario was a devoted family man. He was also a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening, soccer, and was an AC Milan fan. He was a member of the Ciociaro Club. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, October 3, 2011, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 10:15 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
