Marion Jones Obituary
Portsmouth - 77 passed away peacefully on May 7, 2017 at her home. She was the Sr. Pastor and Presiding Prelate of St. Mark Deliverance Center, Portsmouth, VA. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Mark Deliverance Center, 3801 Turnpike Road, Portsmouth, VA 23701. A wake service will be held 6-8pm, Friday, May 12, 2017 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Portsmouth, Blvd.

I will never forget the love and faithfulness of this woman of God. She left a legacy for those in ministry and those serving to become in ministry. There is so much to be mentioned about this powerful woman of God, but I know that her reward in heaven is great.

A soldier has gone on and will be greatly missed by so many people. She has truly touched the heart of so many. I am sure God is well pleased with her life. Family, church family, and friends, Apostle Jones has left a legacy, now it is time for those who remain to practice and do the work that she has laid before us. Love, preach, teach and give, for she has put so much in all of us, leaving us blessed to carry on her legacy. I am praying for you family, church family, and friends. I was so very Blessed just to enjoy her company and the Fellowship if only for a brief moment. Apostle Jones will be greatly missed. Many times I would hear this great woman of God on the radio. She was truly a messenger from God. Because of her, my walk with the Lord has been richer. I loved her and have never met her, but her preaching would satisfy my soul. She will be missed by many, but she will truly be missed by this radio listener.
