Marion Alice (Miller) Snell of Raynham, formerly of Plymouth, Easton and Taunton, died peacefully November 18, 2016, at Life Care Center of Raynham. She was the beloved wife of the late Elton Snell; and the loving mother of Judith Brousseau of Norton; sister of William Miller of Middleboro, Dorothy Newton of Wellesley and the late Irene Bolen and Louise Kingsley; cherished grandmother of Aimee Medeiros and her husband Tony, Kimberly Chew and her husband Jonathan and Peter Gibbs; great-grandmother of Cameron Morton, Jonathan Chew, Nicholas Chew, Connor Medeiros, Emilee Medeiros, Ainslee Medeiros, Aidan Gibbs and Charlotte Gibbs. Born in Tiverton, R.I., October 25, 1922, daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Greene) Miller, she was educated in Taunton and had worked for many years for New England Telephone and AT&T as a telephone operator and later in the office. Marion enjoyed crocheting, sewing, travel and spending time with her grandchildren. She also did volunteer work at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth for over 17 years and later making teddy bears for all the children having day surgery at the hospital. She was a member of the Telephone Retired Pioneers and the Browning Club of Easton, where she was the past president and member of the Past Presidents Club. Visiting hours in the First Congregational Church, 785 South Main St., Raynham, Friday, November 25, from 10:30 until 11:30 with a service at 11:30 a.m. Burial in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham. We gained another guardian angel when you passed. I am glad I was there for you to help you through your next journey. It was a pleasure to have met you and to have cared for you. You will always have a special place in my heart. I will truly miss you. I am going to miss your smile and your hugs. Rest in peace, Marion. I love you.
