Barbara,
Please know that you are in our prayers. I so remember those wonderful Birthday Parties your mother used to give for you in Grammar School. What fun we had. I used to see your mother at different things around town. She was always so gracious and friendly.

Barbara, Gay Dull called this morning to tell me of Marjorie's death. Our group of TC Girls has lost another one dear to us. Marjorie called me on October 17 to wish me a Happy Birthday. I said, "Marjorie, you are calling me on Bettye's birthday." She said, "Well, carry it over until you have yours November 16th." She didn't quite make it that far, so I truly appreciate her thoughtfulness in October. She was a very, very special lady and I cherished her friendship. Thought that after Bob's death she would be able to come to Plains and we would go to Twin City together to remember those days gone by. She didn't ever really feel able to do that. My special love to you and your family as you grieve Marjorie's death. You have been a very loving and caring daughter. Most sincerely, Allene Timmerman Haugabook
