CORLEY, Mark James Age 66, born September 20, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Matthew and Wanda Corley, passed away July 3, 2017. Mark was a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Class of 1968. He earned an associate degree while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He also had a successful painting business. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Royce Corley; nephew, Jeffrey Corley, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Melody (Dion) Knox; grandchildren, Cortney Jones and Jordan Henderson; three great grandchildren; siblings, Reginia (James) Bailey, Daria (Jerald) Hurd, Peggy (Thomas Wingard) Brown, Jeffrey (Tina) Corley, all of Dayton, Kendra (Hosea) Scales of Gahanna, OH; a host of nephews, nieces and other family members. Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Visitation 8:30 a.m. until time of service. Family will receive relatives and friends 9:00-10:00 a.m. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
