I have much to say about Mark, though it is not my desire to reveal aspects of his life which were so amazing to many others. His history as a intellectual, spiritual, and leader are well documented and I can add nothing further. I met Mark during a time of turmoil; and I was refreshed by his openness and friendliness. He was surrounded by good friends, and our party at the French Quarter in New Orleans was magnificent. We all have to make the leap into the future, and I hope this short comment will be a small tribute to a very big person, who dedicated himself to service through jewelry, national service, and friendship.
